Director of Church Engagement 

Lalbiakhlui Rokhum, who goes by Kuki, joined A Rocha International in September 2023 to lead our church engagement work, although she’s been a good friend since the launch of A Rocha UK in 2001!

From Mizoram in North East India, she worked for over 20 years with EFICOR (the Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief), most recently leading the training and mobilization team. Materials on creation care she helped develop while in that role are now used by many churches and organizations across India.

Kuki has a Masters degree in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and a BA in Intercultural and Biblical Studies from All Nations Christian College in the UK. She has served on several international mission boards and was on the leadership team of Renew our World. A highly sought after communicator, she has spoken at events and colleges around the world, including the Justice Conference and the Surrender Conference in Australia, Micah Global events and at Wheaton and Calvin College in the USA. In her free time, Kuki loves watching movies, singing and taking pictures of her family, flowers and the sky.

Kuki is excited that with this new role, she can realise her passion of ensuring that creation care is part of Christian discipleship. She is looking forward to building on the years of research, conservation and theological work that A Rocha has already done to enable even more Christians and churches around the world to care for God’s world.
