Erin graduated from Stevenson University in Baltimore, Maryland in 2012 with a BA in Human Services. After graduating, she spent two years traveling to 21 nations leading various Christian humanitarian efforts through local ministry partnerships. After her travels, she moved to Austin, Texas for two years where she managed a social enterprise food truck called SAvery that donated a percentage of their profit to organizations fighting human trafficking.
From Austin, Erin was called to move to Uganda in January 2018. During her seven years in Uganda, she served as the co-director of a nonprofit called Petros Zoe Initiative where she helped establish a multicampus vocational institute and a residential center for teenage mothers who have been kicked out of their homes.
She is excited to be part of the A Rocha International family, to work for an organization that shares her passions of living a life for Jesus and nature! When she isn’t working she can be found volunteering as a youth pastor of her local church, finding any body of water to hang out in (scuba diving)/near,and taking walks with her husband and sons.
She currently lives in Uganda with her husband and two sons.
