Jo Swinney joined A Rocha International in 2020. She has a BA from Birmingham University in English Literature and African Studies and an MA from Regent College, Vancouver in Theology. Jo is the eldest daughter of Peter and Miranda Harris, A Rocha’s founders, and she was raised in Portugal in the first A Rocha centre.
Jo is the author of eight books, most recently “A Place at the Table: faith, hope & hospitality”, co written with Miranda. She has written for numerous publications, has edited three magazines and spoken at conferences, churches and seminaries around the world.
She lives with her husband and their two daughters in Bath, UK and loves nothing more than cooking up a storm for people who enjoy eating and chatting with her while she chops and stirs.
