Kate is a chartered accountant and the CFO at Bible Society. Having qualified with Ernst and Young, Kate spent a number of years working in senior finance roles in PE-backed businesses across a number of different industries before moving into the charity sector when she joined Bible Society in 2017. Although her job title is about finance, Kate also has experience looking after technology, estates, supporter services and fundraising, to name but a few areas! At Bible Society she has taken the lead on sustainability where activities have included planting an orchard, increasing biodiversity within the courtyard space through planting schemes, and litter picking. She has also worked with Climate Stewards to measure and mitigate the carbon footprint. Kate is also a qualified coach, currently supporting others in the workplace.

When not working, Kate can often be found in her garden (or helping with someone else’s), or singing – whether in-person in the local choral society, online with the WorldChoir or leading singing at church on a Sunday morning.
